OUR VISION
To create a program that builds young minds and athleticism into a highly moral community citizen.
MISSION STATEMENT
Established in 1998 in Oakland, California, East Bay Warriors Football and Cheer MISSION is to instill within each participating community youth the principles of sportsmanship, academic responsibility, honesty, self-esteem, loyalty, courage, cooperation and reverence to positively further their growth and emergence into society.
- Academic Achievement: (i.e., tutoring, scholastic recognition)
- Self-Esteem: (mentorship, kind words, a person to talk with)
- Imagination: (vision, to let our young people know dreams are good)
- Perseverance: (no matter what happens to always stand tall)
- Cooperation: (to learn how to be a team player and work with anyone)
- Sportsmanship: (always treat everyone with fairness, and to encourage others to do their best)
- Focus: (strive to be the best and to always have a goal in mind)
- Concentration: (to stay on the path and if you change make a wise one)
WE VALUE
Through this program they are taught to use and think about their bodies in a healthy way through exercise and compete against their own abilities while learning how to be an active participant of a team.
